Château de Marqueyssac

The Château de Marqueyssac was built in the 13th century by the Lord of Beynac as an outpost to keep watch over his rival in Castelnaud. Today, this site is mainly classified for its historic 22-hectare park lined with 150,000 century-old box trees, all hand-pruned.
Flying over this landscape, which changes color depending on the time of day or season, bathed in morning or autumn mist, ablaze in late fall, opulent in summer, and tender in spring, is always enchanting.
