Practical information before your flight

Before your flight, everything is designed to ensure the experience takes place under the best conditions. Departures occur early in the morning or at the end of the day, when the weather is most favorable. Each flight is preceded by a briefing and preparation supervised by our team to guarantee safety, comfort, and peace of mind.

Allow approximately 3 to 4 hours for the entire activity, from the meeting to the return. We recommend casual clothing suitable for the outdoors. We take care of the rest: all you have to do is enjoy the moment.

How a flight
unfolds

After a gentle takeoff, the flight follows the rhythm of the wind. Each journey is unique and offers a privileged view of the landscapes in almost total silence, punctuated only by the sound of the burner.

For about an hour, the hot air balloon glides between sky and earth for a suspended moment in time. The landing is gentle, and the experience continues on the ground with the team for a convivial moment to share your impressions.

Extraordinary experience both visually and in terms of human contact; we were exceptionally lucky, according to our pilots, to have conditions like those that occur 5 to 6 times a year. Thank you Montgolfière et Châteaux for this unforgettable experience. It was a feast for the eyes! Spectacular views of the Dordogne and the castles. The professionalism and kindness of our pilot and his partner (on the ground) contributed enormously to making this moment unique. We shared our basket with 2 other absolutely charming couples (some Quebecers and some Normans) who, just like us, enjoyed this trip in the air.

I had the chance to take a flight last Saturday, privileged because there were only 3 of us passengers in the small basket with our pilot Domi. The flight was magnificent! An unobstructed view of a part of this magnificent Dordogne and its castles and gardens that I love. I thank Domi who is very pleasant, very professional, and passionate. I also thank Simon who followed us with the vehicle in order to pick us up at the end. After we helped put all the equipment away in the trailer, Simon offered us a drink and delicious walnuts. Very nice. Thanks also to the person I had on the phone and who welcomed us at Beynac. As you will have understood, I recommend it!!!
